Current Job Title: Capacity Analyst                                             Reporting To: Capacity Manager

Department: Capacity Management Department                                                                       Location: Pardis

 


 

Roles and Responsibilities:

1- Assists in planning and monitoring the utilization and capacity for current and proposed systems, including changes, by performing defined tasks. Includes maintaining good understanding of the disposition and capacity of installed system components and the capacity and performance implications of their inter-working. Maintains awareness of existing and future service commitments and the configuration designs associated with them.

2- Assists in investigating, diagnosing and resolving problems related to capacity of proposed and/or exiting systems, as directed. Includes selecting appropriate tools and techniques to fulfil requirements to generate accurate information for measuring, estimating, planning and tuning capacity.

3- Participates with other members of the capacity and architecture teams in investigating and processes using methodical and consistent techniques. Includes specifying information flows, processes/ procedures and data objects that will meet business requirements.

4- Participates with colleagues and customers in investigating operational requirements and problems, contributing to improvements in information systems, data management, processes/procedures. Includes assisting in defining acceptance tests for automated systems, demonstrating an ability to identify, review and challenge work processes to achieve performance enhancement.

5- Participates in all activities of the capacity management team through attending team meeting and documenting activities.

 


 

Qualification and Experience:

1- B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

2- having knowledge in ITIL and capacity management tools ( Is Good Point )

3- Minimum 1 years’ hands on experience in IT with emphasis on system monitoring.

1- Ability to identify, review and challenge work processes to achieve performance enhancement.

2- Good understanding the purpose of change management in the implementation of IT related projects

3- Ability to identify, review and challenge work processes to achieve performance enhancement.

4- Communicate regularly with team mates and provide feedback on management decisions and to ensure alignment to business requirements.
